The Pop Laval foundation is devoted to revitalizing Claude C. “Pop” Laval’s old photos and videos that he took throughout his life from 1910 to 1966. His great-granddaughter has started to digitalize his collection and opened a gallery to showcase his work. Digital Attic worked with Marriage Mentoring Ministries in Fresno to create a brand identity for its new non-profit company. Digital Attic started by creating a logo and stationary material for the new company. Once the logo was completed, Fresno's Digital Attic also created collateral material including a brochure in both English and Spanish. The Central Valley Tea Party is a grassroots organization spearheaded by Fresno citizen Melissa Wheeler Courtney. The organization had only 20 days to put together it's first event, the Tax Day Tea Party, held April 15, 2009 at the Save Mart Center on the campus of Fresno State. The Marjaree Mason Center is a domestic violence shelter and supportive services center. They strive to help those in a violent home and give those people help in ways of shelter, legal assistance, education, support groups and so much more. Youth for Christ was founded in 1944 and spread like wildfire. YFC USA's first staff member was a young preacher named Billy Graham. Since 1945, Fresno/Madera Youth For Christ has been at the forefront of caring for and working with young people in our community.
